The Cambridge Preschool Program Website Is New & Improved!

The new Cambridge Preschool Program (CPP) website is designed to be a comprehensive, user-friendly hub for families, providers, and community members seeking information about CPP. The updated site now includes dedicated sections tailored to the needs of different audiences:

  • What Is CPP?
  • CPP Families
  • CPP Providers

Together, these new webpages create a centralized, easy-to-navigate space for all things CPP, making it easier for families and providers to access the information and resources they need.

The CPP Spring Application matches have been announced! Here’s What Comes Next!

Visit the CPP page for next steps!

OEC will continue to accept CPP applications for SY26-27 on an ongoing basis. However, many CPP providers have filled their spots, leaving limited availability.

Questions, concerns, or need support with the accept/decline process? We are here to help! Please contact us at  cpp@cpsd.us or (617) 349-1798.

Our Mission

The mission of the Cambridge Office of Early Childhood is to connect the city’s early childhood ecosystem, align early childhood services and information, and advocate for and advance the needs of all young children, their families, and the early childhood workforce.

Our Vision

Every child and family in Cambridge has access to high-quality early care and education experiences. As a result, all children enter school ready to thrive academically, physically, socially, and emotionally, and continue to do so through third grade and beyond.
